a workplace lawyer( dude at work who knows it all) just told me 50K minimum settlement for a dogbite in NY. mmm lots of pennies, but Ill be happy if they pay off my deductible.

I am surprised that there are not "professional" dog bite receivers in NY roaming around with kibbles-n-bits in their shoes knocking on doors. 1-2 days a year of work and then they can spend the rest of their time playing MW3 and smoking a bong in their parents basement. $50K would easily cover a years supply of weed, Doritos and Mt. dew.
