fake copper?

How do you know if copper is fake? Their seems to be an abundance of rounds on eBay.
I like collecting Gold and Silver. I prefer the Silver stuff. God Bless You.

I doubt it would be worth faking. Copper's not very expensive. Unless it's under spot, I wouldn't worry about it.

Fake copper? Never heard of such a thing. I would suppose that copper would have to be worth about $100 per pound before you saw fakes... At that time, however, the alternative of fake "other stuff" would be more profitable than trying to fake copper.
Brick and mortar shop: buy, sell, and trade anything precious- coins, bullion, scrap, jewelry, gems, etc.

Haha. 1997 Canadians are also fake copper. 2000 Cdn nickels are fake nickel.

2012 Five and Ten British pence are also fake copper and nickel. Not only the US empire, but the British empire is also joining the fray.

Just because governments and central banks do it, does not make a small refiner any less likely to do it.
