My Ryedale AxCent is here........

Postby CardsNCoins » Fri Dec 17, 2010 5:34 pm

........and I have no idea how to get it going. Image

I'm doing something wrong or missing some steps because it beeps with every penny I put in, and coppers and zinc are coming out the same side. Anyone care to offer a brief tutorial to a newbie?

The comparitor is the black box. There should be a penny in there. There should be a piece that slides back and forth. Check that. If there isn't a penny in there, put a copper one in. If there is, switch it out, or realign it.

When I opened the package from Andy a 1980 fell out, and I had no idea where to put it back. The I found a red lever that opened a black box. Inside that black box there was a small red piece of plastic that lifted up, and in there was a spring and that's where I put the 1980 penny and its still beeping everytime. As for the piece that slides back and forth, it was set on 30, where should it be set? (possible setting s are 15, 20, 25, and 30).

Thanks for any help.

Is there a circular sticker anywhere that says something about Ryedale Coin?

But what's it do? We're very eager to know what it does....Does it feed the coins into the comparator? Electronic or magnetic? Etc...
