I know there are a lot of expert penny sorters and im a noob but I think I see a good deal at Pennies.com

They are selling 1 lb bags of copper Lincoln Memorial Cents for $3.95 and 5 lb bags for $17.95. THAT IS UNDER SPOT!!!!!!!!

Here is the link: http://www.pennies.com/copperlincolncents.htm

It wouldn't surprise me if that is the commercial site of one of the members here, but I don't recognize it. Copper pennies sell for less than spot all the time. Usually the more you buy at a time, the better the deal. Standard trading size is about 68 pounds.. which works out to around $100 face in copper cents. Always be sure to add in the shipping when calculating your total cost.

$17.95 is around the average price you can expect to see from a typical retail seller for a five pound bag. Check out The Copper Cave at coppercave.com Their price is also $17.95 for a five pound bag. Frankly speaking paying anything over $13.50 for a five pound bag is not a "greatl" deal. :D

Not really an amazing deal, you could find better on eBay I'm sure. Also the "Customer Finds" Section looks totally bogus.

On eBay there are 1 pound lots at comparable prices, and 5 pound lots via buy it now for much less than $17.95.

Sounds like he just forgot to update his prices. I bet if you order some silver it will be "out of stock"

I agree, I'd still try it though. Could always make it a big deal and demand the listed price... Or try to settle for 18-19X FV
