Watch for my custom wrappers

Postby AGgressive Metal » Thu Jun 06, 2013 8:34 pm

I saw the thread about someone in Kansas finding Alaska penny wrappers and it got me thinking, since I have my own custom rolls made by a bank supplies company just for kicks.

My old rolls say "Commonwealth Coin & Currency - Ft Wright, KY" and my new rolls say "Commonwealth Coin & Currency - Cincinnati, Ohio". The old ones are basically all gone and I just gave a lot of 1,000 of the new ones to a church for their summer camp penny drive. I also use them to pack Canadian coins that I send off to customers near the border. I'd like to hear back if anyone ever finds one!!

Message in a bottle! Good idea, the odds of one us getting one are crazy long, but it would be legendary if it happens.

With respect, I hope I don't find one! I don't need any more zincers in my stash! :x

I didn't ever think to use custom wraps though. That is a pretty awesome idea!

I think it's mighty kind of him to mark solid Zn for us so we don't need to buy and search them.
If you find one just report it here, don't buy it.

PS - If you see Penny or Half rolls that have a black "Sharpie" circling the roll about 1/3 to 1/4 from one end, it's been checked and dumped. That's the way I mark mine so I don't buy them back. I've seen them travel from Forks, WA to Seattle and Tacoma. I've yet to see any along the OR (Interstate 90) side of the Columbia (yet).

These aren't my rejects I'm not a big sorter - I use them either for zincs from pocket change, Canadian FV coins to Canada, and I give them out at church for their penny drive and for whenever they get pennies, so some of them might be mixed!
