2013 Fed Box

Postby biglouddrunk » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:25 pm

I recently got a 2013 Fed Box. I noticed on ebay they are selling just over face. To me it not worth dealing with listing it. Have any of you guys ever sold a fed box to a local coin dealer before? I'd be happy to get $30 for the box. The way I figure it people are actually pay $45 with shipping on ebay so it still might be worth it for a coin dealer to pay a slight over face. Any thoughs or how do you guy unload your fed boxes? My only other though is rolls singly.

As P mints are hard to find on the west coast and D mint are hard to find on the east coast some member might want them. Also you might keep them and trade them for CRW as some banks do not want to give up all there coins.

I don't miss this fun part of penny sorting. Just a quick heads up about Ebay fees. IF you plan on selling that box as is,

listing it at $31 + MFRB 11.30 = just about zero profit. So keep that in mind when you you're listing it. Those fees have a way of creeping up on you and you don't want to lose money.

yeah Im always aware of the fees. I calculated at 30 dollars I break even. That why I can't see charging only 32.50 which is what they seem to go for. Maybe I'll just hold on to them. Five years down the road they might be worth 50 bucks. That's not bad doubling my money in 5 years. I guess 2013 are just too fresh.
