coinstar loot!

Postby penny pretty » Mon Sep 03, 2012 6:19 pm

Was happy a while back finding a silver dime in the reject tray. While dumping today I looked down, and saw a BUNCH of rejects. scooped out and saw the silver quarter first. then saw more quarters and thought JACKPOT! But alas only the 1 silver. but still 3 bux in change and some silver! can only figure a really clueless or really old person left those! always check the coinstar folks!

Tonight at the grocery store I was telling my gal how you should always check the coin return when you walk past a Coinstar. To demonstrate I casually reached inside and pulled out a steel penny.

Yes I know it's not worth anything. But it sure made me look like I know what I'm talking about :D .

I checked out the coinstar the other day and thought it was a penny in there. I pulled out a 2 kopecki from the Soviet Union- with the Hammer & Sickle.
