wide AM question

Postby penny pretty » Sat Mar 03, 2012 10:05 pm

were all wide AMs minted in philly? the ones I have found have no mint mark, and would LOVE to know if I can stop flipping over the 98-2000 Ds! Thanks a lot for any wisdom!

Only Philly for 1998, 1999, and 2000 WIDE AM's.

If you're into checking "D" mints....gotta be checking for the 1992 CLOSE AM! (Philly, too!)

And you never know, you may be the first to find a NEW variety.

I was just looking at a 1992D Close AM over on Teletrade's auction site. This is the second one I've seen. So, keep checking for them 1992 CLOSE AM's! They are out there.

I've found 98, 99 and 2000 WAM's.

Anyone found a 96? That seems to be almost as rare as a 92 or 92-D close AM variety.
....not a fortunate son.

There is controversy that the 96 was even found. most think the guy who he claimed found it, lied about the whole ordeal
