Finally Found a Unicorn

Postby Mauserman » Sat Nov 02, 2019 10:21 am

I don’t do a ton of searching, maybe a couple boxes a year but had always heard about some people finding Indians.

I finally came across one in a box yesterday, couldn’t believe it.Otherwise an average box with 16 common wheats, some Canadian and maybe around 20% copper (I’m not counting it out) :D

That's nice!

Wow... nice!

I get excited when I find a wheatie in my change... which is getting more rare these days. I haven't searched any boxes for the last couple years... copper % is way too low to justify the effort.

Thanks everyone. I can certainly see the appeal of collecting Indian Head Cents, nicer than the Lincoln’s imho.

It is nice to find Indian Head cents in the wild. I remember (just perhaps 2-3 years ago) finding one on the floor in the general area of a Coinstar machine. It wasn't in the machine, but perhaps 10-12 feet away. I think that perhaps it was originally intended for the CS machine and fell on the floor and rolled to where it was. More for me!

NOTE: ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- often
substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) and selling short as well.

Can't remember my last indian head find in the wild...except for the ones I've saved from the ground digging! Nice score!
