I sorted my second $50.00 bag today. I found 8 Wheats, 6 pre 82 Canadians returned 34.27 in Z to coinstar. Went for the lowes gift voucher. I love to sort! I think it's either beginners luck or a rich vein of copper in these parts.

6 pre-1982 Canadian? But how many pre 1997 Canadian? (Just a heads up, to keep in mind. Canada did not change our composition away from Copper unitl 1997... until then we just shaved them thinner and they became lighter.)

Just remember not to lick your fingers while sorting and you'll do just fine. May you encounter abundant copper. Welcome.

Those results are a lot mobetter than mine. I'm jealous. :)

I still consider myself a new guy. The knowledge level is broad and deep so I hope you will partake.

Has anyone ever had the urge to simply respond "You're welcome" to the newer members' thank-you threads? Anyone? No one...? Well...me either! Ahem ahem.

Welcome aboard, mobettermark. You from the great state of Missery?

Welcome Mobettermark!

May you always have bags full of copper and pockets full of silver!

Thought about it but the Big Daddy of copper sorting already did.

Oh, maybe new members should be warned that sorting can lead to hoarding of coffee cans, foot lockers, and 55 gallon drums. :|
