Has anyone seen a rotated number like this? The first one looks pretty messed up..Mint error? Comments welcome..Thanks, Diggin

I don't see how the date could possibly be post mint damage. No sure about the "clip" at two o'clock, though.

I've never seen anything like it.

Very weird. You might have a jackpot.

Looking at it with 150% magnification...You can see some sort of weird depression to the immediate upper left of the weird looking "1". Maybe there was a lamination type probem with the planchet? Catastrophic die failure? Aliens?

Sucks that it has such a massive rim ding! If you use your loupe or magnifying glass and you don't see any scratching or tools marks than it is most likely an error and should get sent in for verification.

How does that happen?

The damage looks so clean. Or, is it that the anomaly cannot be explained.
