About darn time!

Postby Rodebaugh » Tue May 17, 2011 5:35 pm

Found her just moments ago. 1886 under my best eye. She's a little bent and a tad worn.......but she's all mine.
I can't say how many I had to go through for us to meet.....but it was all worth it. :P

Nice find! I'm so jealous ;) I wonder how many more pennies I must sort before I find my first one. I know I've sorted through at least couple thousand dollars already, yet nothing :(

Very nice, Doc. I've only found six on the year. Better catch up!

Thanks guys. Corsair, I started sorting pennies when you where low enough to the ground to pick them up without bending over; and this is my first EVER.

I have alot of catching up indeed.

Found while freeing coin from rolls pre-sort of the Ryedale. Stuck out like a sore thumb. Still smiling. :D

I just got my first today too, an 1880 in nice shape!

Got it hand sorting from Wells Fargo.

Nice!
I lucked out and found one after only a few $100 face sorted...now I've sorted a lot more and still haven't found one.

You could probably post that one on your metal detecting thread.

Someone dug it up at some point over the last 125 years.
