Forum for discussing any topic related to investing in, collecting and saving US, Canadian, UK, and other Copper Bullion Pennies for their metal content.
I could look this up myself, but maybe one our forum experts already has a quick answer. Was cracking open some plastic rolls this morning to feed the Ryedales and found a coin that sounds like silver when dropped. Looks like silver. Mexican 20 centavos, 1928. Help?

Silver is silver...nice find. I found a small girl's silver ring while metal detecting on Sunday...it weighed 1.38 grams....worth $1.50+/- but still silver for the pile!
Nice grab before it took a dive into the zinc pile!
I believe I got the same coin in a penny roll about six months ago. After looking at completed listings on ebay, it looks like it may have more numismatic value than melt value.
