I haven't seen any articles about them being sold, they seem to be somewhat common as far as a few searches show that anywhere from 5-10 have already been identified by individuals. I know what I'd pay for one ;)

Ive seen them being sold from anywhere to $30-$100. Guess it depends

This is one of the reasons why I have not bought a machine sorter yet. More than likely a copper 83 would be overlooked if I wasn't doing my copper hoarding by hand. I am so tempted to step up my hoarding with a machine, but I do not want to miss out on some of these rare gems....

I am sure the Ryedale will just dump that copper 83 in with the other copper cents.

yes it would, and it would get thrown into my copper hoard without me ever knowing I had a super special 83 copper cent buried among my copper stash. :)
