Lubricant for the flywheel on a Ryedale?

Postby Henchman » Fri Aug 05, 2011 2:39 pm

I checked the Ryedale website and I couldn't find it fast enough. Finally got my Used Ryedale up and running had to really lubricate the SnP with Dri Slide, it was jamming A LOT. The wheel is very dirty but the guy I bought it from had a replacement wheel. I'm going to try and used the dirty wheel as much as possible but after taking it out and cleaning it up a bit I hear some noise I feel is coming from the wheel not turning smooth enough.

What is the lubricant used on the doughnut under the wheel?
Should I just replace the wheel now and track my usage?

Cheers,
