Nice score for copper sorting

Postby JobIII » Fri Sep 02, 2011 7:50 am

Last night after playing a couple really terrible rounds on BC2, I went back to the ryedale to finish processing about $400 (2 buckets worth). About halfway through the first bucket, i started to see an incredible amount of wheats. Each pour into the ryedale exposed large groupings of them. So i start to pluck them out before they passed through the machine.

They were all 20s and 30s dates and in VF or better condition. From that half bucket (~$100 unsorted cents), i ended up plucking over $5 in 20's and 30's wheats. And the best part is i know i didn't get all of them before they went into the copper bucket. I kept hoping to see some indians, or rare / key dates, but i didn't. This had to have been someones collection. There's no way this was random. I haven't seen anything like in a while. At least not coming from NF String rolls.

It's nice to see this kind of find, considering the way this week has gone. Yesterday a dump bank called to tell me they gave me $18 more than i was owed (after the coin counting machine literally broke during my dump), which was a little distressing because I was 60% confident i was returning $30 more than the total they said it was. And on wednesday i lost a supply bank (responsible for 25% of my weekly pick-ups).

Keep at it.. it is an ever changing game. Make sure to thoroughly check your zinc rejects from those current buckets before dumping. The early wheats like to jump on the zinc side. I found an Indian in my zinc bucket this week!
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more
