I'm a bank's best friend

Postby balz » Fri Sep 02, 2011 3:16 pm

I had not enough boxes for the long week-end, so I tried a new bank in a more ethnic area... Not only the teller was happy to give me 5 boxes, but she took my phone number on a sheet of paper and wrote: "Our new best friend". She told me that same morning they shipped 6 boxes and that they receive so many pennies they don't know what to do with them.

I enjoy myself! :)

I'm not sure about cookies... but maybe I'll find something else... Maybe some chocolate? Any other idea?

She told me to show her some old pennies I may find... I think at some point she was happy to chat with a white guy!

I usually stick to an assortment of cookies...every once and awhile one of the ladies...they're all ladies....winds up on a diet. Seems it's easier for them to snack on a cookie instead chocolate or candies.

Any bank that is paying to ship out coin will be more than happy to offload to a customer. I choose my supply banks this way. I never have to place orders for coin, and can pick up more than I have time to sort. As you build the relationship you get calls for the unusual stuff that shows up.

Methinks you could be looking at a possible dump bank for someone else.

At the main bank I use (that calls me when they find goodies), I alternate between donuts and muffins (I make sure to get there first thing in the morning).
