3 Indian's as 1.

Postby highroller4321 » Fri Oct 22, 2010 4:45 pm

While sorting this week I found 3 IH that were fused together as one.

Check out the pics. Sorry they aren't the best...my good camera is at home.

The top date is 1896. They are fused together pretty well so I am not sure if I want to take a hammer to them to get them apart.

And if the hot water soaking doesn't work, follow that up by putting them in the freezer so expansion may force them apart...

If you can't get them apart then we have to assume they are 1877 & 1909-S

Now that's a 3 cent piece I don't have in my collection. All of mine are silver or nickel.

Yeah for sure! They really don't want to come apart and I have tried a bunch of things. I guess I will leave them together as a united tribe.
