I notice you charge $50.00 for first time or one time service.

Tell us a story when that 50 bucks wasn't near enough

Maybe in the next few years, Newman will get some serious time off. Bye bye USPS.

I salavaged the label the best I could and am going to tape it on the new box of pennies. I also am going to tape the "we are sorry" note right next to it so hopefully I dont get it back.

Me too. Mostly because of the people. Always try to be helpful. Lately they seem to be overworked at the po I visit. Limited staff, same amount of work...hey that sounds like the place I work but, I'm not a postal worker.

The folks at my local PO are very friendly as well, and they are typically short-handed. I've been going there, to the same three window workers and postmaster, for the last decade.

I should admit... I've almost ALWAYS had good dealings with the postal workers I actually meet. Everywhere I have gone.

I've always had a good relationship with all the mail-people in my life as well. And based on the quantity and weight of the packages I am very thankful that is case :)

I bet this PO worker never complained about any other worker before. Hey right, there are good ones and bad at every job. So what that you are really busy this time of year, most of us are busy all year. Never having to go through downsizing in your entire carreer until maybe now is pretty nice. So chill out and deliver my mail on time and in one piece(only kidding).

Just to clarify this wasn't a "bash the usps" thread. It was just a warning to use extra tape and be careful around this time of year.
