In my part of Florida, I'm currently getting 20% over 63 boxes sosrted. I also average 13 wheaties per box. My average on the copper would probably be higher if I had a reliable way to comb my '82 pennies which are averaging almost 3% per box.

I'm also getting 7 foreign coins per box (mostly canadian). The furthest a penny sized coin had to travel to my area was from Hong Kong.
Don't look back. Something may be gaining on you.

Neither a penny or a nickel is worth face value anymore.

I'm just a poor wayfaring stranger.

You may already know this, but a copper 82' weighs 3.11 Grams and a Zinc 82' is only 2.5 Grams which makes it pretty easy to differentiate if you pick up a $5-$10 scale on Ebay. Some people can tell by the sound they make when dropped too. Hope this helps

Btw, my average is about 25-30% in Maine w/ mostly CWR's and bags. Lately only seem to be getting 10-15 Wheats per $100

False alarm on my claim of a percentage drop from loomis last week, this week was looking up, only one roll less than 20% out of 50 rolls.

Usually 30% from the local credit union in detroit area. Did alittle better today, 38%. While I was at the coinstar dumping the zinc, I noticed that the bank in the grocery store didn't have a line. This is not where I usually stop, I thought I'd ask if they had any pennies I could buy. Teller says that they had been cleaned out by a few businesses earlier in the day but she would check. She comes back with only 4 dollars rolled. I say I will take it. As I'm walking away I noticed one roll has "wheat pennies all years" written on it. So I think that a smartass is being funny. But sure enough, 1909-1958! So I guess u never know what's in the next roll.

Being fairly green to sorting I was over the moon to pick up 10.00 in pennies from a TD bank having a whopping 80% Cu yield. Amazing as that was 16/20 rolls were sorted into years, so after cracking a few hazy bronzed looking rolls I knew I was on to a good score.

Here in Philly suburbs I'm getting similar to Riles96 and many of the others, 25-30% and a good number of wheaties. Genrally I pick up at Wells Fargo (paper wrapped), dump at TD Bank at their "penny arcade" and have accounts at each. Less chance of meeting the Coin Monster (aka SuperSorter) monstrosity that way too, no Brinks plastic-wrapped!

I usually get @30% here in WNY, but the last 2-3 weeks I'm getting 65% all from CRW. I got $50 of CWR last week and I got 95% from that lot. Never seen somthing like this, but % of Canadians are down from these.

I'm fairly new at this, I just pick up $10 worth 3X a week so I dont do the volume most of you do, so far out of 358 rolls I'm averaging 24%.

I've found 79 wheats so far, the oldest being 1912 and the best was a 1918-S in VF-XF

Being lazy, but not lazy enough to hand sort I finally did a percentage on a fresh box. 32%. 6 Canadian, and 11 Wheaties.
Things have been looking so good percentage wise, I'm going to start ordering 4 boxes a week instead of two. Finally, for the first time a teller told me today, at this other bank I worked they sold these coin counter bags straight to customers, I'm like yeah, that's my new bank.

My normal percentage has been close to 22% for several months. This past weekend though I had 2 bags ($50 FV ea) with close to 80% each. I even picked out 110 weaties out of the first bag. Haven't had the chance to pick through the other but I'm excited about goin through it. I must have gotten the benefit of somebody's hoard that somebody received in an inheritance or something. I kept checking my machine for jams thinking it wasn't right but after a double sort everything is right. Getting a bag like that kinda spoils you. Now it's a downer going back to a normal 22% bag.

I've been averaging about 8% lately with CWRs, with 1 wheat per $10.

Don't feel bad dude. I average 18 - 20% Cu but my wheat yield is about 7 per $100. I have never had an IH and the wheaties are elusive too.

In the Madison, Wisconsin area I've averaged about 30 percent copper pennies so far. I am sorting these by hand, so its taking me longer to do a box. I've completed 2 boxes so far....enough to fill a average sized plastic bowl. My nickel and penny rolls are from Loomis. Next time I will see if I can get some CWR's instead.
