Just stack them. Sure would hate to need the money and have to return them to the bank.

Could make a grown man cry..................
Don't look back. Something may be gaining on you.

Neither a penny or a nickel is worth face value anymore.

I sell most of my copper pennies so I can buy silver. I'm keeping all wheats, '59's, S mints, Canadians, and any copper pennie that still has mint luster.

I'm on my 4th month in the hobby. In a week or two I'll have a full 2,000 pound ton of pennies, which I plan to sell to be able to have more money to run more pennies quicker and get more copper faster. Rinse, repeat, and grow richer faster than by just hoarding them.

I am stacking for the next 20 years. Then, when copper is 10K a pound, and paper is worthless, I will build a copper mansion to flaunt my wealth! sure, it will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter(cu is a CONDUCTOR not an INSULATOR)...OK..OK VERY strange dream sequence, but hey... thats how we roll...
"Is that a roll of pennies in your pocket?" "Why yes miss, it is... why do you ask?"

Find as many as you can and hold onto them. What are we really losing?
The future will show that it is/was worth it. Think of pulling silver in the 60's-80's. Pull it, hold it, profit.
I don't think copper pennies will be going for 24x FV soon, but 10x FV is certainly a possibility.
Decline of the dollar and rising copper prices would make it happen.

My game plan for storing my nickels and pennies is this: I'm using the yellow Tidy Cat plastic bucket (empty, of course) I think they hold about 3 gallons or so? I'd rather have several of these to move, rather than one that's really heavy. I'm almost 3/4 full on my nickel container...and will start on my penny container in the next few weeks as I gather more copper!
