I googled craigslist in the news on the words mugged or robbed . http://www.google.com/search?tbm=nws&hl=en&gl=us&as_q=craigslist+++&as_epq=&as_oq=robbed+mugged&as_eq=&as_scoring=r&btnG=Search&as_drrb=q&as_qdr=a&as_mindate=7%2F27%2F11&as_maxdate=8%2F26%2F11&as_nsrc=&as_nloc=&as_author=&as_occt=any&tbs= So if it goes good for you it might be a ok place to sell. But it is hard to track coins if you get mugged!

Why selling? In 10 years each penny may be worth 10 or 20.

I hand sort and omit the 82's. Now if someone can ink a deal like this in the Chicago, Ft. Wayne, Indianapolis triangle - - - drop me a note!

$100/68lb lots typically sell on Ebay for ~$160-$170, including postage. Lots of those auctions, maybe he is willing to pay a premium for an "off the grid" transaction.

wow, thats awesome, congrats. hopefully he'll want more and you can make this an ongoing thing.

have you seen some people on ebay are actually selling unsorted boxes of coppers? like people cant just go get that at the bank themsleves and who even knows waht % of pre 82's that box will be anyway. crazy but people are actually bidding on them.
