I have a free checking account at BofA and use it mostly as a dump bank. Not sure I will continue this if I have to pay $8.95 a month.

Are many of you going to close your account with BofA?

we are going to see this at most banks imho as a result of Dodd Frank. BofA just went first.

How do you plan to deal with that? I have accounts at BofA, Chase, Wells Fargo, and 2 credit unions.

I definitely don't want to be paying monthly fees for every single one of those banks.

My BoA account is free as long as I have a direct deposit into it at least once a month. The amount doesn't matter, though.
