Strangest thing you found in a roll (or bag)?

While sorting through pennies for copper, some interesting things turn up.
What is the strangest thing you found in a roll (or bag) ?

I found (here in Canada) the following in penny rolls:
- 3 x Indian heads, countless wheat pennies
- American and Canadian dimes show up often
- British pennies and half-pennies
- Caribbean pennies
- Brass French coins (10 centimes) from the 1960s
- Aluminum 12 sided Cuban coins from the last 10 years

My strangest finds would be:
- 1910 Canadian dime (92.5% silver). It was completely black
- 1904 Indian coin (called a 1/12 Anna) about the size of an old half-dime

I have found 2 indian heads, US clad dimes, British pennies, Canadian cents and a Bahamas penny. The strangest coin would be a very shiny silver colored South African rand. The strangest thing would be a round rusty metal disc that looks about the size of a penny but thinner.

Earlier this year I found a dog tag in a bag of cents. How it got through the sorter as a penny is beyond me.

I took the tag back to the bank, and they RETURNED it to the owner. Now that's service! ;)

2 recent NEW foreign coins for MY finds.

A 1986 25 PAISE from India.

And last night a coin that says "ore-"....something and has a big crown on one side...nothing else just a big crown. Looks like it's a coin from Norway.

Always neat to find something new.

silver canadian dime

some foreign coin that was way to big to fit in a roll, but obviously it was very important for the owner to get rid of it because it was forced to fit...

A nickel shaved down to the circumference of a penny. It fit right in with the rest of the roll, I had to do a double take.

I found one of these

http://www.abbottmagic.com/Magnetic-Sco ... TICSSE.htm

The half dollar is hollowed out and the british penny is not really a british penny, it's another half dollar with the obverse ground off and then a british penny obverse stamped onto it. So the back of the "penny" is actually the reverse of a kennedy half and then the "penny" fits inside the half dollar so it looks like there is on coin remaining and the "penny" disappeared.

I hadn't heard of one of these till I found it but it's definitely the coolest thing I've found.

I was sorting a bag once. I had just loaded up both hoppers on my ryedale when it jammed for the 5-6th time.

I disgustedly said to myself "who's the idiot that is jamming me up know. As I emptied the Ryedale, I pulled out a squashed penny from Disneyland: it was Dopey the Dwarf!!!

It's called a Scotch and Soda coin trick. Lots of fun.

For me I got a nickel and a dime in the same bag. Other than that, a few washers and a plastic penny.

I found two 1972 Lebanon 10 piastres coins in some customer wrapped rolls. At 21mm they are about the same diameter as a nickel but they were wedged into the penny rolls.

Found a "magician's" quarter a few weeks ago in a fed wrapped roll. Somebody hollowed out the the reverse side of a quarter and placed a smaller diameter reverse side of another quarter in it. Basically a quarter with both side's being tails. Maybe a con-man's trick quarter -ie- tails I win OR tails I win  ?
