Just when you think you have it all figured out one of the banks changes the rules! My Capital One started not fixing all the free counting machines. Now I'm down to BoA as a dump bank and to add to the problems it is also my source bank. The only good thing about it is they send the penny bags loose to another city to count so that should lessen the likely hood of buying my own back.
Oh course I buy at one branch and dump at another. Gotta keep them seperated.

I have run into the same thing and have found the best luck with credit unions.

The bank has to pay .07-? to get the rolled coin. So if its pennies they are looking at a minimum cost of $1.40 to get 20 rolls of pennies. (plus the delivery fee)

If its customer wrapped than thats different but I am sure they won't how a different policy for both.

I have been lucky, never been ask to pay a fee and the tellers tell me they are happy to give them to me. Saves them the work from sending them out. I have @10 banks to get them from.

I'm about to join another bank, for three total, and then I dump at random credit union branches.

WF tried to charge me $10 for one box of coin today. They said it is a new policy that was put into effect nation wide. Funny because another branch a few miles away had no problem giving me coins at no charge.

Yeah, my WF sucks too. I used to find an excuse to stop by every week and I would pick up a few rolls of nickels and pennies every trip. I haven't been in months, since they started charging.
