Penny Cleanliness poll (two sets of questions)

My first poll (partially as a test of this, but I'm curious what people are thinking/doing). I've found myself increasingly sensitive to the level of visual imperfections in my penny sorting, especially verdigris-type blemishes, to the point where I'm now bagging what I would consider near-clean bags, versus my earlier days. But to do that I'm pulling more and more pennies to the side, and to avoid lower yields, considering going to some mass cleaning method so that I don't lose them.

If they Ryedale rejects it and I can't readily read the date, it goes in with the zincs. Everything else goes into the copper pile.

I have 3 groups actually:

(1) AU-BU- I'm pretty picky about this, I've hand sorted over $2000 and I've only kept and rolled about $5-6 worth.
(2) normal- I re-roll these and store them in $25 bank boxes
(3) ugly- I throw these in a bag and plan on bringing them to the scrap yard when the ban lifts.

i was sorting out the BU/AU cents for a while, but it slowed down the process way too much... plus I could not come up with a degree of condition if you know what I mean... sometimes I would save ones with a little imperfection, then other times I change my standards... I just throw them all in the hoard now,,, I can always fish for them later..

I've always hand sorted.

Clean abes.

Dirty abes.

If I can rub the green crud off in a short amount of time between thumb and forefinger on my left hand, it goes into
dirty abes. If not, it get dumps into the zincolns. Hence the name DirtyFingers. On my left hand anyway.
