Sumas WA Post Office-Close to a Copper Buyer

Postby JadeDragon » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:08 am

I was in the Sumas WA post office receiving Canadian coin and the clerk remarked on how heavy the box was. I was ripping into it on the counter because I don't want to take a sealed box across the border so I said it's coin. She tells me a local (ie not Canadian) gets flat rate boxes of pennies weighing just about 70 lbs. So is this person a forum member?

She also said that people get heavy boxes of lead shot and of empty/used shotgun shells for the brass content??? Comments

Not me, I'm near Tacoma - but there are a fair amount of WA residents on the forum so thats a possibility.

The empty shells would be bought for reloading not for the brass, especially shotgun shells since they are mostly plastic. The same person that gets the empty shells is probable the same one that gets the lead shot to reload them
