been inactive for a minute. lots of work with my business so sorting pennys has been on hold. but im courious what you guys do with these pennies? i have $15 of rolled copper and a full red cup of pennies...what should i do with these things lol? what do you guys do with them? yall just save them or sell them to others on here or ebay or stare at them and hope one day to melt them down and make a gaggillion smackaroos?

then knocks 'em over and stacks some more

I try to pretend i'm Scrooge McDuck.

Hoard some, sell some use profit to buy silver, hoard some more, sell some more pay down debt. You know the usual.

Well, I've used plastic jars of copper pennies (and 99.9% pure nickels) to weight down
my washing machine and keep it from jumping around if I can't get the load quite 100%
balanced.

They make those machines about 15-45 lbs too light to stay in place on their own, I
guess it makes them easier to transport and a bit cheaper to manufacture. Easy to
fix at my end.

I stackthem and sell some just often enough to remind my wife of the potential that this hobby has to make money.

I try to sell enough that I can write off some of my supplies, since I already have a completely different side business.

I'm 31 years old and copper pennies + silver= my retirement plan.

I'm 74 an Retired so I can't afford AU AG that make CU my thing

I have stabilized one cabinet so far

So that 2,000 years from now some archaeologist will find it and assume I was some sort of king.

Melt them down and turn them into bars.

Myself, I'm still stacking - although I'm a piker compared to the Ryedale circuit here.

Some of 'em are close to expert in the area of shear tolerances of cement floors

stacking with silver for retirement & a lil Scrooge
as well, except im not pretending. copper floors,
countertops, hot tub, steam room, accents etc.

Quite the opposite here... most of my cabinets are sagging under the weight of hundreds of $25 penny boxes filled with Cu.
