Just when I thought I was out...

Postby Morsecode » Mon Mar 05, 2012 9:45 pm

I'm at the credit union today, and the coin gal says to me, "you here to pick up? I got a bunch I'd like to get rid of"...

(So I stopped sorting last October. Sold off the 1.1 ton I had done. Sold off all the Lizzies, Georges, wheats...everything. A few numi cents are all that's left in the house)

I say to her, "hell no, I don't want anymore of those damn things"

She says, "One of the rolls has Wheats written on it..."

*sigh*

The roll turned out ok. Some of the other $49.50 was decent, too.

woo hoo! I now have a whopping 1192 cu Lincolns

Nobody gets out forever.
You think you're out then you find yourself turning over the penny in your pocket change. Then the nickel. The you start eyeing the take a penny tray. Next thing you're staring into the cash register drawer when it opens and you start to sweat a little. You being eating whole wheat bread just because it says "Wheat" on the label. then some teller says "I got some CWR" and you're lost spiraling into another lost weekend.

Did you fall or jump off the wagon as it rolled by the CU?

I laughed so hard about the wheat bread. Pleasant response after you had me looking around describing me digging through the take a penny tray lol
