I paid him with halves last fall, and told him I would pay in pennies this spring. No they are not rerolled, $25 loose in each box. They bank at my dump bank so the girls there will know where they come from. ;)

Nah, different category. Original sport was Pay at the Pump.. not have the pump come to you. Heck, you didn't even prepay before he started pumping.

This is too weird! The LP delivery man is my Dad! I swear! Well, not really the guy in the video.

In the podunk small town county I live in, the county seat is population 2700. I couldn't count the number of times Dad and I jumped up at Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Year's Day to get heat to someone out in the country who ran out of gas!! For 25 years, my Dad delivered LP to half of the county, whenever they needed it. He would also make sure all the pilot lights were lit inside. And if they had to pay with coins, I'm sure he took it.

Nice one. In the video the gas man asks how much they weigh and he says "if they were copper $100 weighs 68 pounds." If they are zinc $100 would weigh about 56 pounds so he gave him about 168 pounds of pennies.

Nice going! Cash is cash.

When you get down to it you traded American currency for a needed service/commodity. In the old days, you used gold to buy your land, silver to buy your horse and copper to pay for everyday purchases. Here's your everyday purchase.

Well done.
