Do you make counters for your Ryedale? Do you buy con counting machines? Do you use a scale ? If so which scale?
I need to know because I will sell copper on craigslist and want to have a scale to double check what I estimate. And compare to what other persons scale says.
I don't want them to have a terribly calibrated machine and me have a loss in profits.

I have a small counter and my guess is I'll burn it up soon. I'm looking for a used Klopp.

I got a Downey Johnson 30-PH model from a tip on ebay. Paid $85 and it counts a box in a hair less than 2 minutes or about 1250 per minute. Quarters, halves and nickles somewhat slower. Pretty cool. The new models are basically the same.
I would like to upgrade my Ryedale with counter but would not want to add the extra wear just to count and it is slower than the 30-PH?

CS-10 bought used. Use it for filling rolls to with the coin tubes. Only thing is the wife says its too noisy so if we are watching TV I'll hand sort and count sometimes.

I use that method also. I line up the little piles of 10 in rows and then count the rows.
Love to count things, goes with being a cost accountant I guess.
I know very "old school" but I am a crotchety ole geezer, what do you expect?

I weigh mine. But onlt because Canadian pennies have different weight depending on the year. 15 pounds then they go into a 2 liter Pepsi bottle, put a moisture pack in and cap it. Great for stacking on a pallet I find.

Just counted a bank bag. Coin-Scan 303... Got it used from a RC member who had also gotten it well-used. Thing is built like a tank. It'll probably out-live me.
