New searcher :)

Postby iatetacos » Sun Mar 18, 2012 11:13 am

I'm very new to the penny searching. ( done less than 500 pennies). It started cause in my change from Wendy's I got a silver quarter. Since then I have bought 3 boxes of pennies and a bag. Second box I bought looked like it had been searched but I kept searching Anyways. Found a 1900 and a 1906 both in great shape :)

Are you in the US if so you found two Indian Head cent in one box. It can take years to find just one. It is like winning at the slot machine with the first quarter.

Welcome to the fun. Awesome finds!! I've been at this for a year and half and still have not found an Indian.

No Indians here either. About $1500 searched.

FWIW, I got started when I found 3 silver dimes in the till at work. I thought "Wow! This is easy! I love free money". I thought I was gonna find it by the ton. I was wrong, lol. Still fun and worth the effort
