Postby snappy » Fri Nov 05, 2010 3:19 pm

got a call from my supply bank telling me the cu had $900 fv in cents wanted to know if I wanted them (if not they would have to pay to ship them back)... well got them but no time to search them yet. it will be a couple months before I can do them (busy). so just tossed the 18 cloth bags on top of the pile. here is hopping.

Nice!

ahhh. Loose pennies, that is the best way to buy. $900 in one stop is even sweeter.

Good for you but you should have turned the tables on them and said that they need to pay you a $1.00 a hundred fee to do this service for them

Lucky dog....I'm lucky to get one $50 bag a week. I got '1' bank that will sell them to me....the other "dozens" of banks in my area will not sell any to me. At least 100 banks/CU in a 15 mile radius from where I am. ONLY ONE FREAKING BANK will sell them to me.....sorry it just gets to me if I let it sometimes. Anyway, the question is....are you going to go through them by hand or the Ryedale?

I hope you have a coin counter to pre run the coins of you are using a ryedale. All kinds of trash makes it way into those bags.

I get cloth about half the time with halves.
