A pound of copper in 187 zinc pennies? I think Mr. Berko needs to check his math

Great stuff! And he had the audacity to call the letter writer a fool! i'm not sure he should be giving investment opinions if he can't do simple math.

I think he should consult the members of this forum before giving any advice about investing in copper bullion!

That was a great read. I like how he insults the guy over and over again. LOL.

Rabbit poop has many advantages over bat guano, so that's what I'm using. But it's no substitute for COPPER! YAHOO! :D

Members here might want to leave an intelligent comment on the article's comments section..being more polite than Mr. Berko was to the guy who wrote him.

I don't care about him either way, but that's just Mr. Berko's style - a bit condescending. He's gotta sell newspapers and making the other readers (yes, and himself) sound smart(er) helps do that. Mr. Berko is fairly good with investment advice (generally) and has some ethics. Among other things he calls out the big banks for their inappropriate (shall I say) dealings these last many years.

But obviously he does not know the cent metal composition since 1982. How many others are like him who don't really know? Wasn't that the Mint's intent? To fool most folks into thinking the cent since 1982 was/is all copper? :?

Just sayin! :)

This guy is probably a bigger hoarder than all of us combined. He's just trying to throw everyone else off the trail...Nice try "Malcolm Berko"...If that is your real name...$20 face in Franklin halves to the first person that figures out which Realcent member is ghostwriting as "Malcolm Berko"!!!
