2012's worth holding onto?

I have acquired a small hoard of these 2012 pennies during my searches. They are in good shape, shiny and almost uncirculated condition. I know they are only zinc, but I hesitate to dump them right now.

Thoughts?

Sure, why not? I put aside a box of 12's, to keep with the 9's, 10's, & 11's.

A) this could be the last year for cents

B) this could be the last year for cents in their current form

C) you never know when someone is going to discover a mint error for a particular year. Bank wrapped rolls of that year usually see a nice bump in price.

I have them kept in containers out of the wrappers. I'm guessing that doesn't matter much?

Ok. So I finished sorting 2 boxes of pennies that I had. These were probably the worst percentage of coppers I've found in boxes so far. I found less than 100 coppers TOTAL between the 2 boxes. The 2012's made up over 90 percent of the amount. Funny thing is, I did a search on Ebay for 2012 pennies, and....people are trying to sell one roll for more than 2 bucks, for example. Really? I added a couple thousand of these things to my mini hoard of them during the last week alone.

People really want these so much?

However, I found 2 Wheats and 2 Canadians....

I saved a gallon, I'll probably get rid of them later. Go through and cherry pick.
