just found a 1955D ddo

Before you get your hopes up, I think it is a common variety. I could not find any info on it so any help would be appreciated. All of the doubling is around the face/chest area and it looks to have another light mintmark on the doubled chest area. sorry for the low res pics, it's all I have. ;)

'55 is one of my favorite years to find. Hope this turns out to be something good

Cool find! The face doubling looks pretty strong and that little extra "d" is interesting. I really can't help much with any info on it. I just started error searching myself. All the info I've been using has come from lincolncentresource.com. Just wanted to say congrats, it sure is fun finding stuff like this!
Is it just the pic or me, or does the last 5 look a little slanted?

the lcr folks seem to think that it was caused by "staining." I plan to check it when I get home.
