Where is the strangest place that you found box/bags of pennies that you had forgotten about?

Yesterday I opened up a side toolbox on the construction topper of my truck and there were six boxes sitting in there

I was not sorting because I my girlfriend had leg surgery in December and she dumps my pennies, since she could not dump them I just kept picking them up but not sorting. They must have been in my truck for four month, I remember being in a hurry to clean out my car so I threw them in my truck box

Being an 'Old Guy' ... I can only wish there were places where I had boxes of pennies stashed that i have forgotten about. But, sad to say, it 'ain't so'. I get such few quantities that I always am well aware of where they are :D

I went to the bank and picked up a bag of pennies and nickels, popped the trunk of my car and found 2 $50 bags sitting back there. They had to of been there for about a week.

A few years ago I traveled down to Portage, Indiana to work for a few weeks. I picked up a few boxes of pennies down there to take back to Wisconsin. I stashed the boxes behind the seat of my truck and covered them up. Well I did'nt get back to Wisconsin right away, my boss asked for extra help in St. Louis then Topeka and then Oklahoma City. I picked up boxes of pennies in every city I was in and brought them all home to Wisconsin. I finnally got back home 2 months later than expected. Got home-hauled in my penny boxes and that was that. Not quite. A year and a half ago I was cleaning out my work truck and to my suprise I find the 3 boxes of pennies that I first picked up in Indiana! If I remember right those Indiana boxes had the best copper percentage--apx. 29%.

I had a bag of sorted pennies sitting in the pantry that I reckon i had in there for a year or so.

I really should put away all my coins before I buy more...

At the bottom of my clothes hamper. I put a box there for its weight value when my dog kept knocking it over to get at the clothes.
