just saw it just now on there.....good stuff! it took a long time to air...

I met someone else who watched the show last night when I was picking up a box of pennies at the local bank today. I get most of my pennies at the town I work at as it has lots of banks, but every once in a while I stop in at the local bank in my hometown. Our town is so small it has only one bank.

Guy by the teller next to me said "you watched nightline last night!" If I hadn't seen your original post yesterday I would have had no clue what he was talking about as I never stay up that late. He seemed to really have an interest in the program as he spouted off the 2.4 cents per penny metal value in 1982's or before. The tellers did as well, guess they now know what I do with the penny boxes I get from them Figured I'd better get out of there before he finds out where I live and my hoard.

It was the third time. Two times on Nightline. One time on Good Morning America. And also part of it was used on World news when Canada dropped there cent.

ok I couldnt remember. I knew I had seen it before, but I just though I saw the (pre-airing)tape on here or something. Today though I hit a few garage sales, where I always ask "do you have any jewelry?", and this guy said "no, but I have some good advice.." I said, "ok, I am all ears"......he had no idea who he was talking to,,,,,he said "you should save your pennies"....I talked with this guy for 10 minutes about pennies, I think a bunch of people saw last nights episode.....it is a good thing to see people place a "real" value on pennies.

I asked the reporter:

"Glad to see that it aired again. Do most stories air twice?"

Her response:
"Most stories definitely don’t air twice, only the special ones! The senior producers really liked this one so that’s why they chose to air it again."

I watched and they said the guy's name was Adam Youngs. Is it Adam Young or Adam Youngs? Have we been doing the whole thread wrong!?

The reporter added the "s". If you say his name out loud without changing something about it, your head could implode.
