So i just got home from work...had my woman pick me up a bag of pennies this morning so i could sort a little when i got home...im sitting here working the ryedale w my 7 yr old daughter having her run it...i look down ocassionally at the reject box for wheats....i looked down and seen one...grabbed it and its a 1909 in pretty good condition...not shiney bu or anything but. Very readable...im pretty stoked...

Is it normal for the vdb to be very small? Its almost hard to see with the naked eye...i had to use a eye loupe to double check it

Yes, it is really small. Hard to see without a loupe depending on the condition of the coin.
