Here's a "MAD" cent!

The obverse...or front....is off-set but the reverse....the back...is normal.

Called a "MAD"! Misaligned die. The more missing, the better the coin might be worth to a collector.

I often find 1972 cents misaligned on the obverse. Not as obvious as the one picture above but still noticable. Is there some relationship between misaligned dies and the double die errors from 1972?

I've found about 20 or so in the last 6 months but this one is the best so far.

I have found a few coppers simular and set them aside but don't really know much about error coins...
