Most exspensive CTU?

With the price of copper on the rise I was wondering if CTU's might start selling over $140 shipped again.
My real question though is, what is the most you have ever sold a CTU for? (or paid for one)
When was it? Was it here on RC, Ebay, locally?

I've never sold a CTU but I sold a small amount locally for 2x face earlier this year.
I've only bought one CTU and paid $145 shipped last fall in the KSA.

A few years ago I was selling multiple CTU's by direct sale to a previous eBay buyer at $225 each shipped. Sold a couple of tons and converted it to silver and gold for diversification.

As much as I hate to sell ctu's on eBay. Hoard makes a good point establishing relationships with buyers who are willing to do future deals outside of eBay is well worth it. I linked up with a buyer who is in need of bulk pennies to search himself. Just so happens he only lives 20 minutes away. I've been supplying him with coin for over a year now and it's been a great business arrangement.

IMHO, it's not just about the price of copper rising, but also about the number of dollars chasing PMs. When Ag is $40/oz, people may see $150 CTUs as a better buy. When Ag was 26ish over the summer, everybody was spending their money on silver.

Wow! $225 a piece? Good for you, huh?

Still not a bad deal for those who bought though...

It's a horrible deal when you can get them far cheaper anywhere else and the pennies themselves are worth less in scrap value even now...
