Good eye! I don't know if I would have caught all of those.

E.T.
That's a pretty good stamped penny. Might want to check eBay on that one.

Even in a bag, I'm surprised it was counted as a penny by the machine... although I did get a quarter in the last bag I searched...

It was in a bag; I get mostly bags. Have gotten a handful of smashed pennies, actually. It actually goes through the Ryedale chute, if you can imagine that. I had to do it, to answer the question: it's copper! But of course I noticed it before I poured it into the hopper. I wouldn't want to damage E.T. (OR MORE IMPORTANTLY THE RYEDALE) by letting it get stuck in the SnP area.

That ET is a return of the old tourist gimmick. It cost 51 cents. The penny goes between the pressing rollers & the kids turn the knob until it drops out. You usually get a choice of what to imprint depending on what attraction you are at. We saw our 1st one in Alaska last year & now have seen them all over attractions in New England. The grand kids love them.

You can tell when they are made from zinc cents because the copper plating is so thin it splits exposing the zinc core.
