Newbie finds first Indian Head!!!

Postby pennypicker » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:30 pm

Well I joined this hobby and this board less than two weeks ago and during that time I have hand shorted over (14) 25$ boxes. Today while sorting the 14th box I came across my very first Indian Head. It was a 1900. It took searching over 33,000+ pennies to come across it. Frankly I was very surprised to find one and it served to increase my enthusiasm for this hobby. I have been picking up two $25 boxes a day but the Indian has sparked my enthusiasm so tomorrow I will grab three boxes instead of two!!! Don out of California :P :P

Bully! and Welcome!

It's always a thrill, like a jackpot!
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

Congrats!!!

After more than two years of enjoying this hobby, I'm closing in on 125,000 searched and I still have yet to find one in my searches. Through the kindness of some on this forum, I do have a few in my possession, but have yet to experience the thrill of finding one in a roll I am searching.

Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. :geek:
