Found a 1940 D in a $25 box. I know it's not a big find but it did fill a hole for me. Always excited to find a coin I haven't found yet.

Attaching some pics of the wheats i've found hand sorting / my storage system.

All the tubes with dates visible are coins I have found in circulation either in change or in boxes. Some tubes may only have 1 coin in them others are almost full and there is everything in between.

All of the tubes still upside down are coins I have yet to find. Been at this for 1 year.

Note: I have found a 1917 D as well as the the 1940 D since this picture was taken. Other than that it is up to date.

I got the boxes from wizardcoinsupply.com

Nice. I collect mine the same way. I bought 2 100ct boxes of penny and nickel tubes from Wizard Coin supply a while back and am working on filling up all the date/mm. I think I have 4 tubes full for the pennies and 8 for the nickels.

I have found 2 1954 cents through 82 boxes. More IH's than 54's is a pretty amazing stat...
