$1814.36 if the machine is empty when you dump
That would take you 5 hours and 2.5 mins to dump that many pennies at 600 cpm.

Maybe give Lowes gift cards to all your friends and family members who you normally give such gifts. Use their names and addresses.

On "Coin Operated" on Modern Marvels on the History channel the guy for coinstar said the a bin can hold more than 500 lbs of coin. Each machine has to two bins. 2x500 lbs=45359.24 Grams / 2.5 grams (zince penny weight)=18143.696
Hope this makes sense.

I have only used coinstar once, that was when I dumped $220 in zincs. It took way to long and the cashier a the supermarket said the machine was giving her a headache.

So I have been waiting anxiously for a few free minutes to head to the local coinstar and take advantage of this. Much to my dismay there was nothing on the machine about Lowe's??? It was not an option for the e-certificate while several of the other promo merchants were. Has anyone else experienced this. Will check some other local coinstars soon.

Just in case anybody cares. . . i did a little research. The coinstar site offers a machine finder which will tell you were they are located and what e-certificates each machine offers. Not all of the retailers are offered at every machine. There are 20 coinstars within 10 miles from my house but the closest one w/ the lowes option is 9.6 miles away. . . bummer!

I went this AM and the Albertson's machine was full; must be a lot of people taking them up on that offer.

I went to the Fry's down the street and turned in $43.

The machine did not mention anything about the $10 promo but when it printed my receipt it was at the bottom.

You have to go to coinstar.com/amazon to redeem the $10 and get the promo code.

I was confused why they needed your address to redeem the $10 promo code if they give you the code online?
