I sold a decorator lady a few boxes of zinc last summer. She said she was going to do this exact same thing....I wonder if its her!

I've seen kitchen backsplashes done this way somewhere on the internets too.

I just went out to dinner tonight, and when I went to the counter, there, glued face down was an S mint Indian head.

What a shame!

Do you think I should go back there and try and pry it off- or do u think the coin is ruined?

Hypothetically, you could toss the coin in a 350 degree oven, then scrape off the glue once its soft.

Very cool floor. I wonder if they polyurethaned over it? I saw that they grouted between the pennies.
