I was wanting some zincs to cash in for an Amazon gift certificate (birthday present), so I fired up the Ryedale and ran a bag which had been sitting in the corner for a few weeks.

978 zincs out of 5000 for an 80%+ copper bag.
Out of the coppers, I'd guess at least half were 82's, but quite a few 81's as well.

There's another bag from the same source waiting to be run...

That's very weird. I guess some copper sorter needed cash and decided to let go of the 81s and 82s?

I just dumped $300 face of ugly Abe's so someone might be surprised at those.

EVEN worse, I pull out the ugly zincs... the ones that you have to say. is that a coin. and dump them at one bank that I dislike. lololol. I truly hope no one ever gets that dump.

That is interesting. I grabbed a 50.00 bank bag about the same time, ran it a few days ago, and almost the same thing, 1717 zincs, the rest were mostly 80, 81 and 82's. lots of them were nice and shiny as well. I haven't had time to go through the whole copper pile yet, but not expecting anything different. I grabbed another bag at the same time, but have not had time to run it yet.

I guess I'm lucky. I get dumps, too. But this guy is hunting wheats only. I get the copper!!!

yep, every once in a while i will trade at a bank a known zinc box for a box with CWR's in it, all marked with an "X"... those rolls are just wheat less.

I must be one sick individual. The title of this thread gives me some really bad visuals!!

With the copper percentage you had, and the shinier 81-82's that's an older hoard that was dumped.

I went through a box today and of the 50 rolls 21 of them were zinc. Never had a box like that before and I have sorted more than 250 boxes...Strange right? Must have gotten some dumps after they went back to be re-rolled in Harrisburg PA.
