Is my Ryedale telling me something

Postby JobIII » Fri Dec 31, 2010 11:55 am

So up to this weekend I was in the market looking to sell my Ryedale / CS95 as a pair because i'm not really using them anymore. In fact aside from pulling the machine off the shelf once to sort this October, it had not been used seriously since July '10... Anyways the machine was used this weekend, since I now had $500 in unsorted pennies that i was telling myself i would hand sort over the winter.

And would you believe i found a G+ 1902 indian head cent, 1984 die cud, 198? penny ~15% off-strike, a 1998Wide AM, and a VF or better 1909 VDB. So far that is to say since there's a good amount not looked through in both the coppers and zinc piles.

Anyways i'm thinking this is a sign not to sell the machine. It works great, and even if i could get $600 or more for the pair that's only 1.2 half boxes... :D

Hope you all have nice stories and good % finds in 2011!
