As we only sort on a larger scale in the school months there has been a large drop in the last year. This week we pick up about $100 FV from more than one source and here is what we got.

wow that seems really low! But that happens

I'm North of you Joe but not getting enough to keep me in the Sorting game as I think my last sorts were 15 % or so
Also trouble sourcing Cents , perhaps 18 months since my last cent Box. Rosco

We Texians have few coppers left....I have sorted out less than 10 per box several times and even skunked before on a CU bag.

I've been getting about 18% here in Dallas lately in the clear shrink wrap roll variety (Loomis paper rolls are lower for some reason). And I'm pretty sure there's at least one other sorter close by. Last time I asked for a box the teller said they were out because somebody just left with three boxes. What kind of crazy person would ask for $75 in pennies anyway, ha ha

I've had this happen, but it was only when the new pennies were coming into my area, never did get anyone elses zinc dumps.

thanks I had another account on here but lost all information on it. trying to get my post # up to see if I can buy a ryedale off someone on here. how did you sort those?

I just got a very 'bad' bag. Only $1.55 out of a $50 bag. There were 6 wheaties, but very few coppers. This did not appear to be a zinc dump, but possibly 'could' have been. There did not appear to be a large set of new shields in there either. Just a bad bag. I guess it happens, and if you end up following some other person dumping, it will happen more often than not.

Percentages have remained consistent here in my neck of the woods. Still pulling a steady 24% inspite of another year of shields.

Dang I went to a different branch and got another "we just gave a customer 3 boxes and don't have any more". Bracing myself to get this person's dumps soon :-0.

Wow. That's bad. Maybe I should consider myself lucky and sort a little more while I have the opportunity. I'm still pretty consistently in the 25-30% range, but then again, I don't do it on a very big scale either.

N. IL 28-32% two+ years and running!

The last few bags I have picked up have also been lower than normal.

I am at 18% most of the time...I have to sort $600 FV for 100 bucks in Cu...I have some vacation time coming...I need to plan a road trip and pickup 166 Cu penny rich boxes from the Northern territory and truck them back to Texas.
