hello all. I am new to copper hoarding and would like to say I have learned alot of key information from this forum. I am now saving for a Ryedale after accumulating about 20lbs of copper and some nice rarities. I hope to get to know some of you, because soon I will be looking for someone local that wants to buy my 1959-1982 copper. I live in St Augustine FL so anyone around here give me a shout!

You can PM me here or email me at:

Welcome to the forum. I am a little north of you in Jax. I don't normally buy sorted copper. I like finding it myself, it's more fun this way. I hand sort for now, just waiting to win the Christmas Rydale next year. lol. I have found lots of different varieties while doing it too. Like I said earlier, welcome and I hope you like it here.

Welcome, I'm between Lakeland and Orlando. Being a rather slow hand sorter, the banks barely notice me.

I am in Melbourne. I dump mine at TD- they sort them for free if you have an account...which i opened and got a 25.00 bonus. I took the $$ and bought a box at another bank. I do get weird looks, but, I am plesant and have not had anyone say no.

Happy Hunting!

I'm with 68Camero, I am only sorting for personal use. I don't think I am anyone's competition.

Hello,I'm from Ocala and it's nice to meet all of you and yes most of the banks think I'm pretty weird. My grandson and I sort about 10 boxes a week, mostly saving them for future use.We have lots of fun and have learned alot ,I dump mainly at Publix or coinstar and try to hit different banks each week. 8-)

Of those that have spoken up a lot of people in FL, not too far apart, but not too close. Looks like there is about one of us every 40-80 miles... :)

BoA and 5/3 and I think SunTrust use Brinks. Regions uses Loomis. Haven't tried others yet. Of armored services, I also see Guarda and another I can't remember.
